Pop superstar Ariana Grande has publicly condemned the White House for using her music in a video promoting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activities.

The White House's TikTok account reportedly featured Grande's 2024 song, “Bye,” specifically the chorus “Bye-bye, boy, bye,” set to footage of ICE arrests.

Grande responded to the video with a now-deleted comment, captured in a screenshot by TMZ, stating, “please do not ever use my music in relation to this barbaric, inhumane, heinous nonsense.

f**k ICE.” The reasons for the comment's deletion, and who removed it, remain unclear, as does why her song is no longer present in the video on the platform.

This incident highlights the ongoing tension between the pop star and the current administration's policies.

White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson addressed Grande's remarks, telling HuffPost, “We’ll say this one last time: what’s actually barbaric, inhumane, and heinous are the criminal illegal aliens who have injured and murdered innocent American citizens.”

Grande has been a vocal critic of President Donald Trump's immigration policies.

In September, she questioned Trump supporters on her Instagram Story, asking if their lives had improved given the impact on immigrant families and the trans community.

Following this recent development, Grande launched The Brighter Days Ahead Foundation on Friday, which supports various vulnerable communities.

One of its grantees, the Defending Our Neighbors Fund, provides legal representation and bond assistance to immigrants facing detention and deportation.
