The couple's appearance occurred while Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were holding their star-studded rehearsal dinner in New York City, an event Lively and Reynolds notably missed.

Lively, 38, and Reynolds, 49, were photographed in casual attire, supporting their 6-year-old daughter, who reportedly placed second in the competition.

Lively wore a halter top and jean shorts, while Reynolds opted for a white T-shirt, khaki pants, and a tan hat.

Their absence from Swift's wedding festivities has drawn attention, particularly given previous reports of a strain in the friendship between Lively and Swift.

According to sources, Lively was not extended an invitation to Swift's nuptials.

This development matters to fans because it suggests a significant shift in the public friendship between two prominent celebrities.

The reported rift between the two friends is said to stem from Lively's legal dispute with Justin Baldoni, her co-star and director in the film "It Ends With Us." Sources previously told Page Six that Swift felt her name was inadvertently drawn into the lawsuits, which concluded with a settlement in May.

An insider stated that Swift "needs space" from Lively and felt like a "pawn" in the situation, adding that Swift was "really hurt by this whole situation."

While Lively was spotted grocery shopping solo last month during Swift's bachelorette weekend, Swift's other A-list friends, including Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, and Erin Andrews, were seen arriving at the rehearsal dinner at Madison Square Garden.

The dinner, which ran from 6 p.m.

to 10:30 p.m., precedes a larger wedding celebration expected to host over 1,000 guests.
