Peter Phillips, the nephew of King Charles III, has married NHS nurse Harriet Sperling in a private ceremony held at All Saints Church in Kemble, Gloucestershire.

The event, which took place on Saturday, saw numerous members of the Royal Family in attendance, including King Charles III and Queen Camilla, who were greeted by well-wishers upon their arrival.

This marriage marks a significant personal development for Phillips, who is 19th in the line of succession to the British throne.

The couple reportedly chose All Saints Church for their wedding as Sperling had lived in the village when they first met.

The guest list included the Prince and Princess of Wales, Zara and Mike Tindall, and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.

Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice also attended with their husbands, Jack Brooksbank and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

Public interest in the event was evident, with well-wishers and media gathering outside the church.

Metal barriers were erected, and road closures were in place to manage the crowds.

Cheers erupted as the bride, Harriet Sperling, arrived with her three bridesmaids: Phillips' daughters Savannah, 15, and Isla, 14, and Sperling's teenage daughter Georgina.

Phillips and Sperling began their relationship in 2024, following Phillips' separation from his first wife, Autumn Kelly, in 2020.

Their engagement was announced in August 2025.

The wedding day also coincided with the Epsom Derby, with King Charles and Queen Camilla scheduled to travel from the ceremony to the racecourse to attend the highlight of the racing season and present the trophy.

Local residents expressed their excitement about the royal wedding taking place in their village.

Zoe Fraser, a well-wisher, noted that the community had known about the event for several months and had even organized a special litter pick to prepare.

Bell ringers from the local area were also involved in the ceremony.
