Prince Harry reportedly held a strong conviction that the presence of his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, would be a decisive factor in his ongoing security dispute in the UK.

According to a report from Rob Shuter's Naughty But Nice Substack, Harry believed that bringing his children into the discussion for taxpayer-funded police protection would leave officials with no alternative but to approve his request.

This development is significant as it highlights Prince Harry's strategic approach to regaining security, which was ultimately unsuccessful.

An insider quoted by Shuter stated, "Harry genuinely believed the children would change everything." The expectation was that the government would not risk negative public perception if Archie and Lilibet were perceived to be without the level of security Prince Harry was seeking.

He was reportedly convinced this would force the hand of the Royal and VIP Executive Committee (RAVEC).

RAVEC is the UK body responsible for determining who receives police protection.

This committee had previously removed Prince Harry's taxpayer-funded security detail after he stepped back from royal duties in 2020.

However, the committee's decision remained unchanged.

"RAVEC wasn't swayed by emotion or optics," another source told Naughty But Nice.

"They followed the same procedures they always do.

Harry expected the presence of his children to reshape the conversation.

Instead, it changed nothing." This outcome reportedly left Prince Harry feeling that "every avenue is closing," especially following a recent legal defeat and the news that he would not be staying at Buckingham Palace during his current UK visit.

Despite these disappointments, sources suggest that Prince Harry is not planning to abandon his efforts.

"Harry still believes he's fighting for his family's safety," an insider noted, adding that while the recent defeat was painful, it has only strengthened his resolve to continue the security battle.
