Taylor Swift has officially released the music video for her latest single, “I Knew It, I Knew You.” This country-inflected track was contributed by Swift as an original song for the upcoming film “Toy Story 5.” The release of this music video provides fans with a visual component to the song, further connecting it to the beloved animated franchise.

The video itself is a compilation of footage drawn exclusively from the “Toy Story” films.

It prominently features the character Jessie, who also served as the inspiration for the song and is depicted on its cover art.

Swift’s new single, “I Knew It, I Knew You,” became available on streaming services shortly after she announced its release earlier in the week.

To accompany the initial announcement, she shared a vintage video on social media, showing herself as a young girl wearing a red cowgirl hat and an embroidered shirt, hinting at the song's thematic connection.

Reflecting on the creative process, Swift shared her sentiments about writing the song.

She described it as both a “musical departure and coming home at the same time,” noting that creating something for Jessie presented a new challenge while also feeling like second nature.

Swift, a self-proclaimed “Toy Story kid” since the age of five, expressed her enduring connection to the franchise, stating her intention to be on this adventure “to infinity and beyond.”

She extended her gratitude to Andrew Stanton for envisioning her for the project years ago when he wrote the newest film.
