Adam Sandler Officiates Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's Wedding, Offers Marital Advice
Adam Sandler recently officiated the wedding of pop superstar Taylor Swift and NFL tight end Travis Kelce.
The ceremony, held at Madison Square Garden on July 3, saw Sandler impart both humor and heartfelt advice to the couple, according to Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.
Reid, who was among the guests, recounted Sandler's "phenomenal" performance as officiant.
Speaking at an event in Salt Lake City on July 5, Reid, 68, shared Sandler's key piece of marital wisdom: “Keep kissing.” Sandler, 59, reportedly emphasized the importance of daily affection, stating, “It’s hard to argue when you give your wife a kiss or your wife gives you a kiss… And make sure you do it every day, every minute that you have an opportunity to.
Knock it out, and you won’t have any problems.” This advice from a long-married celebrity like Adam Sandler adds a relatable touch to the high-profile union.
Sandler, who has been married to his wife Jackie since 2003, has previously expressed admiration for both Swift and Kelce.
He told Extra that he and his daughters are big fans of Swift's music.
Regarding Kelce, who has a cameo in the upcoming *Happy Gilmore 2*, Sandler described him to Entertainment Tonight as a “stud,” a “great actor and a great human being,” and a “gentle, nice guy, and funny as hell.”
Swift and Kelce, both 36, exchanged vows after three years of dating.
An insider informed PEOPLE that the wedding celebration featured musical performances by legendary artists Paul McCartney, who performed “I Want to Hold Your Hand,” and Stevie Nicks.
