Gina Rodriguez, known for her role in "Jane the Virgin," has publicly voiced her support for her former co-star Justin Baldoni.

This comes after Baldoni and his wife, Emily, addressed their recent legal settlement with Blake Lively.

Rodriguez, who played Baldoni's love interest on the CW series from 2014 to 2019, commented "love you friends.

por vida" on an Instagram video posted by the Baldonis.

The Spanish phrase "por vida" translates to "for life," signaling strong backing.

Another "Jane the Virgin" alum, Brett Dier, also showed solidarity, commenting, "I love you guys."

This public display of support from Rodriguez is significant as it comes after a two-year legal battle between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively, which was settled out of court on May 4.

The dispute originated from their 2024 film "It Ends With Us," with Lively having sued Baldoni for sexual harassment in December 2024.

In their recent video, Justin and Emily Baldoni expressed "immense gratitude" for the support they received during what they described as a "traumatic" experience.

Emily Baldoni stated that the couple endured "injustice and pain" due to Lively's accusations, which she characterized as being "disguised as a fight for women." Justin Baldoni explained that they had remained silent until now to allow the justice system to run its course and to avoid adding to the public "noise."

Prior to the legal battle, Rodriguez had consistently spoken highly of Baldoni, calling him her "brother forever" in an interview and stating he was the cast member she stayed in touch with the most.

While the legal battle has concluded with an out-of-court settlement, neither Baldoni nor Lively reportedly received any money from it, though their legal teams combined made $60 million.

Lively later sought to compel Baldoni to pay over $8 million in her legal fees, and was reportedly not invited to Taylor Swift's wedding after involving the singer in the legal dispute.
