Actress Lisa LoCicero, known for her role as Olivia Falconeri on *General Hospital*, has shared a touching tribute to her former co-star, Randolph Mantooth, who passed away on July 9 at the age of 80.

Mantooth was widely recognized for his work as Johnny Gage in the 1970s medical drama *Emergency!*, and also had a significant career in daytime television.

LoCicero worked alongside Mantooth on the ABC soap opera *Loving*, which later became *The City*, from 1995 to 1997.

She played Jocelyn Roberts Brown, who was romantically linked with Mantooth's character, Clay Alden (also known as Alex Masters).

This development is significant for fans of classic soap operas, as it highlights the lasting impact of these actors and their roles on their colleagues.

Taking to Instagram, LoCicero posted a publicity photo from *Loving* and expressed her grief.

She wrote, "My first crush..

my first TV kiss… I spent the early 70’s pretending I was on a ride along with Johnny Gage (on a BigWheel on the sidewalks of Grosse Pointe).

I adored this man, his humor, his talent, his ethic …..

his support in my first years on TV meant more than he could ever know, and he changed my life."

LoCicero concluded her message with a heartfelt farewell, saying, "❤️ you Randy..

there’s a new angel keeping us all a bit safer..

I will miss you beyond….

#RIP." Jessica Collins, who played Dinah Lee Mayberry on *Loving*, also commented on the post, calling it a "Beautiful tribute" and adding that Mantooth "will be so dearly missed."

Another *General Hospital* co-star, Laura Wright (Carly Spencer), who also appeared on *Loving* and *The City* as Aly Rescott, shared her own remembrance on X.

Wright stated, "I worked with Randy on Loving and The City for many years- no one had better stories or had more fun on a set than Randy Mantooth.

So so grateful that I got to learn from you."

Randolph Mantooth's soap opera career also included a stint on *General Hospital* as Richard Halifax from 1992-93.

He also filled in as Hal Munson on *As the World Turns* in 2003 and 2005, and portrayed Kirk Harmon on *One Life to Live* in 2007.
