NBC has become the first broadcast network to announce its fall premiere dates for the 2026-27 season, providing an early look at the upcoming television schedule.

This early announcement allows viewers to mark their calendars for the return of popular dramas and reality competitions.

The network's fall season officially begins on Wednesday, September 9, with the NFL Kickoff Game, featuring the Seattle Seahawks hosting the New England Patriots.

"Sunday Night Football" will then return on September 13, with the Dallas Cowboys visiting the New York Giants.

Entertainment Lineup Begins in September

NBC's entertainment programming is set to commence on Thursday, September 17, with the two-hour premiere of "The Traitors: New Blood," an all-civilian spin-off of Peacock's "The Traitors." Following this, "The Voice" will return for its 30th season on Monday, September 21.

This milestone season will see the return of coaches Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson, joined by new coaches Queen Latifah and Riley Green.

"The Voice" will lead into the series premiere of Peter Krause's drama "Line of Fire" at 10 p.m.

"The Voice" will also air one-hour episodes on Tuesday and Wednesday of that week, preceding the two-night, four-hour finale of "America's Got Talent."

October and November Returns

The popular "One Chicago" franchise, including "Chicago Med," "Chicago Fire," and "Chicago P.D.," is scheduled to return on Wednesday, October 7.

The following evening, "Law & Order: SVU" will be back, leading into the original "Law & Order," which will air in a new 10/9c time slot.

Later in October, Reba McEntire's "Happy's Place" will return for its third season, followed by the series premiere of the Tea Leoni-Tim Daly multi-cam comedy "Newlyweds" on Friday, October 23.

November 2 will see the return of "St.
