Veteran news anchor Scott Pelley has reportedly signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) following his recent departure from CBS News and its flagship program, *60 Minutes*.

This move comes just weeks after Pelley's termination from the network, marking a new chapter for the 51-time Emmy winner.

Pelley's exit from CBS News on June 2 was reportedly a result of a verbal confrontation with new executive producer Nick Bilton, who is operating under Bari Weiss's leadership.

Bilton reportedly informed Pelley in a letter that they could not “find a path forward together” after what he described as a “performative display of hostility.”

In his first interview since the termination, Pelley expressed strong criticism of the new leadership, telling The New York Times that they “don’t know what they’re doing.” He further stated, “We have people who’ve been installed in these jobs who through no fault of their own have no experience in television.

They don’t know what they’re doing.

And there’s a subtle political bias that I’ve never seen at *60 Minutes* before, or at CBS News before.” Pelley concluded by saying, “So that is my hope: a return to sanity.

We can save this.

It’s possible to land this plane.

But right now, CBS News is on fire.”

Pelley joins a roster of *60 Minutes* veterans at CAA, including former colleague Lesley Stahl.

The agency also represents Bill Owens, Cecilia Vega, and Tanya Simon, all of whom have reportedly left the show within the last year.

Additionally, CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, who recently stepped away from *60 Minutes* after many years, is also represented by CAA.

This development indicates a significant shift in representation for prominent figures associated with the long-running news program.
