This acknowledgment comes after Reiner's passing in December.

Fans of the FX comedy will recall Reiner's appearance in Season 4 as Albert Schnurr, a restaurant consultant.

His character provided instrumental advice to Ebraheim (Edwin Lee Gibson) regarding the Beef walk-up window business.

This guidance inspired Ebraheim to propose the idea of franchising the Beef, a concept that became a central storyline in the final season.

While it remains unconfirmed if Reiner was slated to return to "The Bear" before his death, his character was referenced in Season 5, culminating in a touching homage to his legacy in both the show and Hollywood.

Season 5 of "The Bear" primarily unfolded over a single chaotic day, as the restaurant staff navigated a challenging service marked by a rainstorm, reservation system glitches, and food shortages.

Amidst this, Ebraheim gathered the courage to pitch his franchising idea to Carmy (Jeremy Allen White), a plan that involved a call to Albert Schnurr.

In the series finale, Cicero (Oliver Platt) preempted Ebraheim, informing Carmy about the franchising idea and its potential to finance the Bear.

When Ebraheim and Carmy eventually spoke, the idea received quick approval, allowing Ebraheim to proceed with his plan.

Later, Ebraheim and other team members were shown scouting a location for the Beef's second outlet.

Following this, he called Albert to share the positive news.

The call concluded with Ebraheim saying, "as you wish," a direct reference to Reiner's iconic film, "The Princess Bride," honoring his contributions to cinema.

Rob Reiner and his wife Michele were found deceased on December 14 due to "multiple sharp force injuries," according to the L.A.

Medical Examiner.

Their 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, who has a history of mental health and addiction issues, was subsequently arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder with special circumstances.

He entered a plea of not guilty to these charges in February and is scheduled to appear in court on September 15.
