Uhaa Nation, Formerly Apollo Crews, Debuts at TNA Slammiversary
Former WWE talent Apollo Crews has officially joined TNA Wrestling, making his debut under his previous ring name, Uhaa Nation.
The highly anticipated appearance occurred at TNA Slammiversary, held on Saturday at Boston’s Agganis Arena.
This move marks a significant transition for the wrestler, who was part of WWE's roster cuts announced on April 24.
Uhaa Nation was introduced as one of two mystery opponents for Mustafa Ali, who was defending the TNA International Championship.
The championship bout was a three-way match, also featuring Rich Swann.
During the intense match, Mustafa Ali successfully retained his title by pinning Rich Swann with a bridging suplex.
This came after Uhaa Nation was reportedly buried under the steel ring steps outside the ring by Order 4.
Following the match, TNA aired a backstage segment where Moose was seen welcoming Uhaa Nation to the company, further solidifying his new role within the promotion.
Reports of TNA's interest in the 38-year-old wrestler had circulated earlier in the week, though there was initial uncertainty regarding any potential 90-day non-compete clause following his departure from WWE.
Uhaa Nation, known as Apollo Crews during his time with WWE, is a former WWE Intercontinental Champion and United States Champion.
His arrival at TNA Slammiversary adds a notable name to the TNA roster, potentially impacting the landscape of the promotion's championship divisions.
