Ariana Madix has secured her inaugural Emmy nomination as the host of Peacock's reality dating series, 'Love Island USA'.

This recognition marks a significant career achievement for Madix, highlighting her transition and success in a prominent hosting role.

Madix stepped into the hosting position for 'Love Island USA' in its sixth season, taking over from previous presenters Sarah Hyland and Arielle Vandenberg.

Her nomination is in the category of Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program, placing her among a distinguished group of television personalities.

She is nominated alongside several well-known figures in reality television hosting.

These include RuPaul Charles, recognized for 'RuPaul’s Drag Race'; Alan Cumming, host of 'The Traitors'; Kristen Kish from 'Top Chef'; and Jeff Probst of 'Survivor'.

Notably, Alan Cumming has won this category for the past two years for 'The Traitors', while RuPaul held the Emmy for eight consecutive years prior to Cumming's wins.

The category itself was established in 2008, with Jeff Probst winning the first four awards.

While Madix is now closely associated with 'Love Island USA', she is also known for her long-standing role on Bravo's 'Vanderpump Rules'.

Although this is her first personal Emmy nomination for hosting, 'Vanderpump Rules' itself received its first nomination in 2023 for its tenth season, and was nominated again the following year.

Beyond 'Love Island USA', Madix also hosts the spinoff competition, 'Love Island Games', which is anticipated to return for a third season in 2027.
