Bob Dylan's current "Long Hot Summer" tour has reportedly seen significant changes to his live band lineup, with two long-serving guitarists apparently departing mid-tour.

These changes come as Dylan continues his 35-date run, which began on June 4 and is set to conclude on August 1.

Bob Britt, who has played acoustic guitar for Dylan since 2019, seemingly confirmed his exit via a social media post.

On Saturday, Britt shared a cryptic message reading “Sayonara Bobby” alongside an image of a plane route from Austin to Nashville.

In a subsequent interaction with a fan, Britt explicitly stated, “I quit.” Although the original post has since been deleted, screenshots have circulated among Dylan's fanbase, notably on a Bob Dylan Reddit thread.

Britt's departure follows that of electric guitarist Doug Lancio, who joined Dylan’s band during the 2021 "Rough and Rowdy Ways" world tour.

Lancio’s absence was first reported in a *Los Angeles Times* review of Dylan’s June 17 concert in Santa Barbara, California.

Grammy-nominated jazz guitarist Julian Lage has since performed at the Santa Barbara show and subsequent gigs, though it remains unconfirmed whether Lage is a permanent replacement or a temporary fill-in.

As of now, Bob Dylan has not issued any official statement regarding the departures of either guitarist.

The "Long Hot Summer" tour is scheduled to continue with a performance in Austin before wrapping up in Nashville.
