The Television Academy has announced a change to its Emmy nominations schedule, confirming that all nominees will now be revealed on July 8.

This decision consolidates an earlier plan to announce nominations in two separate batches, a move that will impact how promotional campaigns are managed for hopefuls.

Initially, the Academy had intended to hold back the announcement of nominations in several craft categories, which typically rely on peer-group screening panels.

These categories were slated for a later announcement on July 15.

However, the TV Academy stated on Tuesday that the revised, unified announcement date is designed to better accommodate the promotional campaign schedules for those vying for Emmy Awards.

Nomination-round voting for the 2026 Emmys is scheduled to conclude on June 22.

Following the nominations, final-round voting to determine the winners will take place from August 17 to August 26.

The 2026 Emmy Awards ceremony is set to broadcast live on NBC and Peacock on Monday, September 14, at 8 p.m.

Preceding the main event, the Creative Arts Emmys, where the majority of the awards are presented, will occur approximately a week earlier, on Saturday, September 5, and Sunday, September 6.

Among the nine categories now included in the July 8 announcement are:

* Outstanding Cinematography for a Series (Half-Hour)

* Outstanding Cinematography for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie

* Outstanding Music Composition for a Series (Original Dramatic Score)

* Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited or Anthology Series, Movie or Special (Original Dramatic Score)

* Outstanding Music Composition for a Documentary/Nonfiction or Reality Program (Original Dramatic Score)

* Outstanding Sound Editing for a Comedy or Drama Series (One Hour)

* Outstanding Sound Editing for a Comedy or Drama Series (Half-Hour) and Animation

* Outstanding Sound Editing for a Limited or Anthology Series, Movie or Special
