Corey Feldman Hospitalized After In-Flight Medical Emergency, Diagnosed with Food Poisoning
Actor Corey Feldman was hospitalized following an in-flight medical emergency on a flight from Chicago to Los Angeles.
Paramedics met the plane at the gate and transported Feldman to the hospital, where he spent the night undergoing tests.
His representative later confirmed that Feldman was diagnosed with food poisoning.
This development is significant as it clarifies the cause of his sudden illness, which initially prompted concerns about more serious conditions like pancreatitis or gallstones.
Feldman's representative stated, “Corey is doing much better and is now out of the hospital.” A source close to the actor told TMZ that a doctor, who was a fellow passenger, checked on Feldman during the flight when he began feeling unwell.
Feldman's representative also conveyed his gratitude, saying, “Corey wants to thank everyone for all of the love and well wishes.
He has definitely seen a lot of the messages and really appreciates everything.”
It remains unclear whether the food poisoning was related to airport dining.
Feldman had been in Chicago to attend an anniversary celebration for the 1986 film *Stand By Me*, alongside co-stars Jerry O’Connell and Wil Wheaton.
Prior to the event, Feldman shared videos on Instagram of his drive to Chicago, which included a stop at Michael Jackson’s childhood home in Gary, Indiana, to pay respects.
Looking ahead, Feldman is preparing to release a new single titled “What Am I Here 4” on June 22 and plans to celebrate his birthday with two performances in California the weekend of July 25.
