Actor Hank Azaria recently shared his frustration regarding Taylor Swift's courtside presence at a New York Knicks NBA Finals game.

Azaria, known for his voice work on *The Simpsons*, voiced his sentiments on *The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz*, stating he was “bothered” by the pop superstar's prime seating.

Swift was seen courtside during game four, where the Knicks secured a significant comeback victory against the San Antonio Spurs.

She was accompanied by the Haim sisters, Alana and Este, and actress Mariska Hargitay, all sporting custom Knicks t-shirts.

This appearance followed Swift's frequent attendance at NFL games, a trend Azaria alluded to in his comments.

“I’ll tell you the one that bothered me was Taylor Swift,” Azaria said.

“I know she’s the hugest thing in the world, but we had to sit with her all through the NFL and now she’s at the Garden.

Come on.” He clarified that his issue wasn't with her deserving the seat, but rather a general weariness with what he termed the “Taylor sports thing,” calling it “ridiculous.”

Azaria also shed light on the celebrity seating process at high-demand events like NBA Finals games.

He explained that even well-known figures like Ben Stiller or Tracy Morgan might not know if they'll get in until the day of the game due to intense demand.

He suggested that even Spike Lee, a prominent Knicks fan, reportedly pays for his tickets.

For game four, Azaria himself was seated “way up in what they call the Cisco Suites, which are like the ceiling,” after failing to secure a spot for the previous game.

He mentioned that other celebrities, including Questlove, Rainn Wilson, and Jeremy Strong, were also scattered throughout the arena, not all in prime courtside locations.

This highlights a perceived disparity in celebrity seating, where only the “A+ list” are consistently seen courtside, while “Everybody else is like stuck wherever.” This development offers a glimpse into the hierarchical nature of celebrity access at major sporting events, even among well-known personalities.

Beyond her sports appearances, Swift had a busy week, including her induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, making her the second-youngest inductee after Stevie Wonder.

She was introduced by Steven Spielberg and delivered a speech where she praised Sombr, quoted *Yellowstone*, and thanked her family.

Additionally, Swift released a new song, ‘I Knew It, I Knew You,’ for the *Toy Story 5* soundtrack and performed it live at the premiere, where she also duetted ‘You’ve Got A Friend In Me’ with Randy Newman.
