Kate Middleton made an appearance at Trooping the Colour, arriving in a carriage alongside her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Her husband, Prince William, participated in the parade on horseback.

This annual celebration of the monarch’s birthday saw the Princess of Wales dressed in a light blue Catherine Walker dress with white piping, complemented by a prominent Philip Treacy hat.

Adding a personal touch to her ensemble, Middleton chose Cassandra Goad pearl floral burst earrings.

These earrings hold sentimental value, having been worn by the Princess earlier this year for the installation of the new Archbishop of Canterbury and notably debuted in 2018 at the christening of her youngest son, Prince Louis.

This choice of accessory highlights a connection to significant family moments.

Middleton's outfit for the occasion drew comparisons to two past ensembles worn by Princess Diana, both also designed by Catherine Walker, from 1992 and 1987.

Since her marriage to Prince William in 2011, Kate Middleton has consistently attended Trooping the Colour, frequently opting for designs by Alexander McQueen and Catherine Walker.

Her attendance at Trooping the Colour follows a relatively quiet period for the Princess.

Last month, she undertook a two-day trip to Italy.

More recently, she joined other members of the royal family at Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling’s wedding in the Cotswolds.

Earlier in June, Middleton carried out two engagements focused on cancer charities, including hosting a reception at St.

James’s Palace with King Charles and Queen Camilla, and visiting a holistic cancer center in Manchester.

Two years prior, Middleton returned to public life at Trooping the Colour after announcing her cancer diagnosis.

She spent much of that year out of the public eye, confirming in September 2024 that she had completed chemotherapy treatment and in January 2025 that she was in remission.

While the Princess has not explicitly discussed her health or recovery in recent months, Prince William offered insight into her journey, stating, “She’s an amazing mum, an amazing wife, and, literally, our family couldn’t cope without her, so, she’s been absolutely stunning, brilliant.”
