NBC has announced the cancellation of 11 television shows, a move that includes both long-running series and newer programs.

Among the most notable cancellations are the crime drama *Law & Order: Organized Crime* and the popular daytime talk show *The Kelly Clarkson Show*.

*Law & Order: Organized Crime* concluded after five seasons, despite being the eighth most-watched show on the network.

Its cancellation came as a surprise to some, especially as other less-watched shows were renewed.

Christopher Meloni, who has portrayed detective Elliot Stabler for nearly three decades across the *Law & Order* franchise, shared a message of thanks to fans on Instagram, acknowledging their support for his character and career.

Another series, *The Hunting Party*, was canceled after just two seasons.

Jeff Bader, NBCUniversal’s President of Program Planning Strategy, had previously indicated the network's desire to improve ratings in the show's time slot, stating, “Nothing negative about Hunting Party, but for our linear schedule, we absolutely need to try and do a little bit better there.” This statement provides context for the network's strategic decisions regarding its programming slate.

### Other Notable Cancellations

The list of canceled shows also includes the medical drama *Brilliant Minds*, which ended after two seasons, and the comedy *Stumble*, which was canceled after its first season despite receiving a 96% fan rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Long-running syndicated programs such as *Access Hollywood* (after 30 years) and *The Steve Wilkos Show* (after 19 seasons) are also concluding.

Other shows affected are *Access Daily*, *Karamo*, *Yes, Chef!*, and *On Brand With Jimmy Fallon*.

The extensive list of *NBC cancellations* reflects a significant shift in the network's programming strategy, impacting a wide range of genres and viewership demographics.
