The body of singer Oliver Tree has been returned to the United States, specifically California, following his death in a helicopter crash in Brazil last Sunday, June 14th.

A spokesperson confirmed the return via a message posted on Tree's Instagram account, stating he can "finally rest" in California.

This development matters to the audience as it marks a significant step in the aftermath of the tragic incident and the fulfillment of his stated wishes.

Six people, including Oliver Tree, died in the incident, which involved four passengers and two pilots.

The cause of the fatal collision remains unclear, though a theory suggests human error.

Fire services spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Fabio Contreiras noted that parts of the aircraft were scattered, indicating the preliminary nature of information available.

In the wake of his passing, Oliver Tree's family is preparing to carry out his final wish regarding his estate.

In an interview conducted weeks before his death, Tree expressed his desire to donate his wealth back to artists.

He stated, "I don’t believe that any of the wealth or the things that get made from it is mine.

So when I die — I’ve set it up — my will is set up that when I pass, my family, no one’s going to get a penny."

He further elaborated on his intentions, saying, "I’ll get my kids through college.

That’s the agreement.

But they’re not going to be a silver spoon...

the idea is when I die, all the money is going to go back to artists.

So, I’ve set up a foundation.

It’s called Dr.

Oliver Tree’s Art Grants for Baby Geniuses."

His family confirmed that this foundation, now named "Dr.

Oliver Tree’s Extremely Epic Grant For Baby Geniuses," is soon to be put into place.

They affirmed their commitment to ensuring his wish comes to fruition, aiming to spread "more joy, love and art into the world."

Oliver Tree's girlfriend has also spoken out, describing him as "magic" and an "inspiration." The outpouring of support and tributes from fans, friends, and collaborators has been acknowledged by his family as a source of strength during this difficult time.
