Shanghai Disney Resort's Third Hotel Officially Named Disney Enchanted Star Hotel
The third hotel under construction at Shanghai Disney Resort has been officially named Disney Enchanted Star Hotel.
This announcement was made during a 10th-anniversary event, providing a significant update on the resort's expansion plans.
The Disney Enchanted Star Hotel, which broke ground on August 31, 2023, is designed with Art Nouveau-inspired architecture.
This design choice aims to pay homage to Shanghai’s architectural heritage from the early 20th century.
The hotel will be the smallest of the resort's accommodations, featuring 400 rooms upon its completion.
Currently, Shanghai Disney Resort operates two other hotels: the 420-room Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and the 795-room Toy Story Hotel.
The addition of the Disney Enchanted Star Hotel will expand the resort's lodging options, offering guests another themed experience.
The hotel is slated to open its doors in the winter of 2027.
Further expansion for the Shanghai Disney Resort was previously announced in November 2025, with plans for a fourth hotel.
This future hotel is intended to be located near the entrance of Shanghai Disneyland, positioning it as the closest accommodation to the park's main gate.
