This development follows earlier claims that Swift has been actively working to prevent information about the ceremony from leaking.

According to the Daily Mail, the singer has reportedly forgone traditional physical invitations in favor of personal phone calls to guests, even sharing "slightly different details with different guests" as a method to identify potential leakers.

This heightened security around the wedding details extends to family members.

Insiders previously alleged to the Daily Mail that Swift has even withheld information about the "really, really, big" wedding from her future father-in-law, Ed Kelce.

The reason cited was that he "can't be trusted" to keep a secret, with one insider describing him as a "loose cannon" whose statements are unpredictable.

Ed Kelce reportedly disclosed details about the engagement, including when, where, and how his son proposed to Swift.

Speaking with News 5 Cleveland in late August 2025, Ed confirmed that Travis had asked Swift to marry him at his Missouri home earlier that month.

He recounted that Travis wanted to wait for the perfect moment, but Swift was seemingly growing "antsy." Ed described the proposal, stating, "He got her out there, they were about to go out to dinner, and he said, ‘let’s go out and have a glass of wine,’ … they got out there, and that’s when he asked her, and it was beautiful.” He added that the couple then FaceTimed family members to share the news.

In Touch reported on Friday, June 5, that Swift and Kelce plan to exchange vows at Madison Square Garden in New York City over the 4th of July weekend.
