Adam Sandler took on the role of officiant for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding, which took place on July 3.

The Emmy nominee reportedly accepted the invitation immediately, with a source indicating he was "incredibly honored to be part of such a special day." This development offers a glimpse into the private ceremony, revealing a key figure in the couple's special day.

Sources suggest Sandler was considered the "perfect person" for the role, attributed to his own long-standing marriage of over two decades to Jackie Sandler.

His approach to officiating was described as heartfelt rather than a grand production.

"He just wanted to speak from the heart and pass along a little wisdom that he’s gained from his own happy marriage," a source told People.

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid later shared some of the marital advice Sandler imparted to the newlyweds.

According to Reid, Sandler's simple yet effective counsel was to "keep kissing." Reid elaborated on the advice, stating, "It’s hard to argue when you give your wife a kiss, or your wife gives you a kiss.

And make sure you do it every day, every minute that you have an opportunity to do it.

Knock it out, and you won’t have problems."
