The special broadcast event, which kicks off on Friday, July 3, at 10:00 p.m.

EDT and runs through Saturday, July 4, will feature *Ragtime* during the "Party Across America" segment.

"Disney Celebrates America" aims to highlight the geography, cultural heritage, and pivotal moments that have shaped 250 years of American history.

The broadcast will culminate in "Nashville’s Star-Spangled Bash," a live primetime July 4 celebration featuring performances from artists such as Nick Jonas, Reba McEntire, and Tim McGraw.

ABC's "World News Tonight" anchor and managing editor David Muir will lead the comprehensive coverage, guiding viewers through all 50 states with a team of talent from across Disney's networks.

The programming will be accessible across a wide array of platforms, including ABC, Disney+, ESPN, Hulu, National Geographic, Freeform, FX, and ABC News Live.

## Broadcast Highlights

The 24-hour event begins with "America the Beautiful," a primetime special anchored by David Muir, featuring reporting from inside the Statue of Liberty.

This segment will also include "Liberty Lights," an artistic illumination of the monument, produced in partnership with the consulate general of France in New York, celebrating the enduring bond between the two nations.

Further into the broadcast, "Pre-Party Across America" will be hosted by Linsey Davis, Lara Spencer, and Sam Champion, showcasing celebrations nationwide.

Later segments include "Hometowns & Heroes," exploring America's westward expansion, and ESPN’s annual coverage of the "Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest." "7 Wonders of America" will pair ABC News anchors with National Geographic Explorers to showcase the nation's natural beauty.

The broadcast will conclude with "Dreamers & Innovators," highlighting parades and live events, and a special edition of "SportsCenter" celebrating American sports culture, leading up to the "Nashville’s Star-Spangled Bash."
