The acclaimed Broadway musical *Ragtime* is slated to perform as part of Disney's extensive 24-hour multiplatform broadcast, "Disney Celebrates America." This inclusion marks a significant cultural contribution to the nationwide commemoration of America's 250th Anniversary.

The special broadcast event, which kicks off on Friday, July 3, at 10:00 p.m.

Later segments include "Hometowns & Heroes," exploring America's westward expansion, and ESPN’s annual coverage of the "Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest." "7 Wonders of America" will pair ABC News anchors with National Geographic Explorers to showcase the nation's natural beauty.

The broadcast will conclude with "Dreamers & Innovators," highlighting parades and live events, and a special edition of "SportsCenter" celebrating American sports culture, leading up to the "Nashville’s Star-Spangled Bash."
