Actor Faizon Love has reportedly informed a judge that he is unemployed and financially unable to meet his child support obligations in an ongoing paternity case.

This development comes after his recent arrest related to the case, highlighting the financial disputes at the core of the legal proceedings.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Love filed papers earlier this year in his legal battle with Tiffany Lee.

In these filings, he asserted that he could not produce the $250,000 that Lee claims he owes in child support.

Love indicated that his income has been minimal in recent times.

The court documents reportedly detail Love's financial situation, stating that his highest gross income over the past five years amounted to $13,000.

Furthermore, he claimed to have earned no income at all last year.

Love also cited a medical incident that prevented him from attending a hearing in April, though he maintained that he has consistently acted in good faith throughout the case.

Despite these claims, the judge found Love in contempt of court.

Consequently, he was ordered to turn himself in for a 90-day jail sentence in May.
