Gaming content creator Alex Cimo has passed away at the age of 32, more than a year after publicly revealing his diagnosis of stage 4 colon cancer.

His wife, Bryttni, confirmed his death in a social media post, sharing that he died suddenly on June 2.

This development is significant for his large following, who had been kept updated on his health journey.

Bryttni Cimo expressed that she is still processing the loss and admitted to feeling "very raw." She also addressed a family disagreement regarding the announcement of Alex's death.

According to Bryttni, Alex had requested that news of his passing be withheld for a couple of weeks, and she had intended to make the announcement herself in accordance with his wishes.

She stated she had hoped for more time before publicly confronting the heartbreaking reality.

Alex Cimo first disclosed his cancer diagnosis in March 2025 and consistently updated his followers throughout his fight.

Just weeks before his passing, he had vowed to continue battling, even after doctors reportedly informed him he had only days left to live.

The beloved creator was widely known for his "Yu-Gi-Oh!" content and expertise in card games, having built a substantial online presence with over 350,000 followers.
