Garth Brooks Announces Arena Tour with Flat Ticket Pricing
Garth Brooks has announced an upcoming arena tour where all tickets will be priced uniformly at approximately $150.
This pricing strategy aims to make tickets more accessible to fans, a notable approach in an era of increasing ticket costs.
The total cost for each ticket breaks down to $140 for the ticket itself, a $4 facility fee, and a $10 service charge, plus applicable taxes.
This all-in pricing model has been used by Brooks previously, as well as by other artists like Bruce Springsteen and Pearl Jam.
Dubbed the "Blame It All on My Roots Tour," a nod to the opening line of his hit song "Friends in Low Places," the tour is scheduled to kick off with two performances at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis in August.
Brooks plans to announce additional tour dates city by city, following his typical method.
Brooks expressed his enthusiasm for returning to arenas, stating, "Going back into the arenas is about putting the stadium show in a box.
The excitement gets multiplied by the intimacy.
Every seat is a great seat.
This is personal." This tour will also serve as the basis for a new concert album, which Brooks is calling *Killer Live*.
Tickets for the initial Indianapolis shows on August 21 and 22 will be available for purchase on Friday, July 17, at 10 a.m.
ET through Ticketmaster.
All tickets will be released simultaneously, with no options for presales or advance purchases.
Fans will be limited to buying a maximum of eight tickets.
