Guillermo Rodriguez, a familiar face from "Jimmy Kimmel Live!", has been confirmed as a contestant for the upcoming Season 35 of "Dancing With the Stars." This announcement marks a significant step for the late-night personality as he transitions from his regular segments to the competitive dance floor.

Rodriguez, who has been with "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" for over 23 years, initially started as a parking lot security guard before becoming a prominent fixture on the show.

He is known for his nightly appearances alongside Jimmy Kimmel and for his unique segments, including his notable red carpet interviews at the Oscars.

He joins a growing list of celebrities already announced for the new season.

Other confirmed contestants include Maura Higgins from "The Traitors" and "Love Island," Ciara Miller of "Summer House," and Savannah Bananas player Jackson Olson.

The complete lineup of celebrities and their professional dance partners is expected to be unveiled on September 2 during ABC's "Good Morning America."

"Dancing With the Stars" Season 35 is set to premiere in September, airing on both ABC and Disney+, with episodes available on Hulu the following day.

Social media personality Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy secured second place, followed by Olympic artistic gymnast Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa in third.

Reality television personality Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach finished fourth, and actress Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten placed fifth.
