This discount applies to all three available tiers: basic with ads, standard, and premium.

The timing of this sale aligns with the highly anticipated return of *House of the Dragon* for its third season, which premieres this Sunday.

To take advantage of the offer, subscribers must commit to an annual plan, paying for 12 months in advance.

This move aims to attract new long-term subscribers and retain existing ones, especially with upcoming content like the *Harry Potter* series slated for December.

*House of the Dragon* Season 3 is already garnering critical acclaim, currently holding a 97 percent critics score on Rotten Tomatoes, marking the show's highest rating to date.

This positive reception could further incentivize viewers to subscribe.

The sale is active now and will conclude on July 15.

The push for new subscribers comes as Warner Bros.

Discovery reported over 140 million HBO Max subscribers in its most recent quarterly report, with an ambitious target of 150 million by year-end.

David Zaslav, speaking to shareholders in May, expressed optimism about the platform's growth, stating, “We are seeing healthy acceleration and subscriber-related revenue growth, which we expect will pick up real pace in Q2 and through the rest of the year.” This discount is a clear strategy to help achieve those subscriber growth targets.
