Jason Sudeikis is reportedly frustrated following his ex-fiancée Olivia Wilde's recent detailed account of their relationship's end.

Wilde, 42, discussed a specific conversation she had with Sudeikis, 50, on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, which she stated made her realize their relationship was over.

This public recounting of private moments has reportedly caused concern for Sudeikis.

Wilde described a moment on the way home from her birthday celebration where she asked Sudeikis if he had gotten her a gift.

She recalled his response: "What would I get you, Olivia?

I don’t know you." Wilde interpreted this as a sign that they no longer knew each other, leading to the realization that their relationship was at an end.

However, sources close to Jason Sudeikis have offered a different perspective.

According to Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack, these sources believe Wilde's narrative lacks crucial context.

One source stated, "The narrative makes it sound like Jason simply checked out of the relationship.

People close to them remember a far more complicated situation."

Another source suggested that Sudeikis and those close to him feel "the real story is being overlooked." This source indicated that, from their viewpoint, the dynamic of the relationship shifted significantly when Wilde became involved with Harry Styles.

Wilde and Styles, 32, were in a relationship for nearly two years after meeting on the set of her film, *Don't Worry Darling*, in 2020, around the time her relationship with Sudeikis concluded.

Sources also noted that Jason Sudeikis has spent years rebuilding his life and reportedly does not understand why "old wounds need to be reopened when everyone involved is trying to move on." A third source expressed Sudeikis's concern for his children, Otis, 12, and Daisy, 9, stating that he was "shocked to see this story resurface years later" and that his "first thought was their children.
