Former NFL player Will Compton has continued to voice his surprise and disappointment at not receiving an invitation to Travis Kelce's recent wedding.

Compton, 36, doubled down on his initial comments, which he made on Monday's “Wake Up Barstool” episode, by responding to a tweet highlighting his "flabbergasted" reaction.

Compton's primary point of contention appears to be the inclusion of Fox Sports analyst Dean Blandino on the guest list.

"Don’t think I’ve ever seen Dean Blandino at Tight End University," Compton wrote on X, referencing the annual summit where he is a regular participant and where he posed for a picture with Taylor Swift last year.

This development matters to the audience because it highlights the social dynamics and perceived slights within the close-knit world of professional sports figures.

Dave Portnoy, during a call to Compton, also noted the "stunning" absence, particularly given that "everybody at Tight End U[niversity]" was reportedly in attendance.

Compton, who is currently vacationing in Europe, initially stated he "didn’t think nothing of it" until he realized "everybody else" had received an invite, specifically questioning Blandino's presence.

While some social media users have suggested Compton is merely "trolling" the couple, others have recalled his September 2025 comment on ESPN, where he questioned if Swift's involvement was impacting Kelce's NFL season.

"You’ve got Travis Kelce getting engaged to Taylor Swift.

… Is there too much going on?" he had asked.

Compton's "Bussin’ With the Boys" podcast co-host, Taylor Lewan, also weighed in on the matter during Tuesday’s episode.

Lewan, 34, expressed his own surprise at not being invited, despite a decade-long friendship with Kelce.

He pointed out the attendance of figures like San Francisco 49ers player George Kittle’s mom and Blandino, stating, "I’m clearly doing something wrong in our friendship, clearly something wrong." Lewan even showed recent text messages where Kelce thanked him for congratulations, but ultimately decided against sending a voice message questioning the lack of an invitation.
