Harriet Sperling, a paediatric nurse, married Peter Phillips, the son of Princess Anne and eldest grandchild of the late Queen Elizabeth, in a summer wedding held in Gloucestershire.

For her special day, Sperling chose a custom gown by Emilia Wickstead, a designer frequently favored by members of the royal family.

The white column dress, crafted from Italian ivory crepe, featured a square neckline and was complemented by a delicate lace overjacket.

This overjacket, fitted above the waist, was adorned with intricate wildflower embroidery across its long sleeves and sheer high neck.

The design culminated in a nearly 10-foot-long scallop-hemmed train, which the designer noted was inspired by a 19th-century silhouette.

The lace detailing also paid tribute to the local florals of the area where both the bride and groom grew up.

According to British Vogue, the designer described the creation as aligning "on something authentic, traditional, and modern," a process that spanned several months and hundreds of hours of atelier work.

Sperling completed her bridal look with classic custom ivory satin heels from Jimmy Choo and selected Mayfair jeweler Pragnell for her tiara and earrings.

Pragnell also designed her three-stone diamond engagement ring and has historical ties to the royal family.

Emilia Wickstead also dressed Sperling's bridesmaids, who included Peter Phillips' daughters Georgia, Savannah, and Isla from previous relationships.

Their outfits were made from the same luxurious fabrics as the bride's gown.

The choice of Emilia Wickstead for the bridal party highlights the designer's continued prominence within royal circles, as she is often seen dressing Catherine, Princess of Wales, for public engagements.
